Andreea Avram Rusu
Andreea, who was born in Romania, received her architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin. After a year with Atelier Christian de Portzamparc in Paris, she came to New York City and worked with Bromley Caldari Architects before opening her eponymous studio on the Brooklyn waterfront.
Andreea has been painting, drawing and creating objects her entire life. She is very influenced by the color, shape and composition found in contemporary art and has a particular affinity for sculpture. She’s a lover of cities and the urban lifestyle, a tango dancer and an avid world traveler with a multi-cultural heritage. All these elements inform her vision and work.
